Since 1998, the club has been proud to host our own event, the Wellingborough 5. Always held on the first Sunday of August at 10:30am. The race is part of the Northamptonshire Athletics Association's Northamptonshire Road Race League. In association with Wellingborough Borough Council

- Race HQ, start and finish at The Old Grammarians Sports Club (Mad Mile).Great on-site facilities, see course info below for more details
Course
- The start line is 10 mins walk from the race headquarters Distance markers every mile There will be at least 1 water station. A fairly flat route, and a run to get a PB. See course info below for more details
Prizes
- Goody Bag for all entrants including a technical T-shirt
- Individual Prizes to first three in all categories
- Team prizes to first and second teams
  - Males team of first 4 adding finishing positions
  - Females team of first 3 as above.
  - Team trophy for the 1st non-running club team of 4, teams to be declared prior to start of race
  - Waitrose Staff Trophy
Entries
- Minimum age: 15 years on the day
- Entries are allowed on the day
- Entries Limit: 500
- The on-the-day entry desk will close at 10:15am.
- All race chips and numbers to be collected on the day, at the HQ
- No numbers or chips will be sent by post

Fun Run
- This year we wll be holding a ~1 mile fun run
- No age limits
- Enter on the day
- £1 entry fee
- Race starts straight after the main race, i.e. around 10:40
